Kim Cattrall films scenes in New York for Sex and The City movie

Kim Cattrall and the set of the Sex and The City movie have moved to warmer climes as freezing temperatures sweep their native New York.

The 51-year-old star looked stunning as she was spotted shooting scenes for the upcoming film on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills.

The actress looked delighted to have swapped freezing -6 temperatures in the Big Apple for sunny L.A. as she strolled down the world famous shopping haven of the rich and famous.

In between takes - and multiple costume changes - Kim was seen struggling with a can of diet coke whilst having her lips done.

“She looked great,” said an onlooker. “Her outfits were fabulous - in one of the scenes she went shopping in Gucci wearing a gold dress and matching jacket. She was walking a toy terrier and the pup had a matching gold jacket on.”

Also spotted making a cameo in the movie, set to be released next May, was a never-before-seen 2009 Mercedes GLK.

Samantha drives the flashy Merc in the movie in a nice spot of product placement by the films producers.
