Yesterday just minutes before Kid Rock was due to take the stage at the Download Festival be was forced to pull out of an appearance because he was rushed to hospital with an unknown illness.
It’s said that Kid Rock cancelled his performance just minutes before he was due to take to the Main Stage at the music event. A statement from festival organizers says that “We’ve had the curse of Download. Kid Rock is not very well (and) we’ve had to rush him to hospital in Nottingham (England). He apologizes to his fans.”

In other news Kid Rock is said to be looking forward to getting old. He insists that he isn’t scared of ageing because he feels young at heart. Kidd said that “I’m 37. I don’t feel old, no. Age has never been an issue with me. I’m looking forward to growing old, which is probably a good thing as we don’t get much choice - you might as well go with it.”

Police arrested the performer and five members of his entourage on Sunday morning after an argument with a man escalated into a fight.
The 36-year-old's tour bus was pulled over by police after it left the scene, a branch of the Waffle House chain.
He was released on Sunday evening after posting $1,000 (£490) bail and stopped to sign autographs for fans.
"Rock along with five members of his entourage were charged with one count of battery, which is a misdemeanour," said the spokeswoman for DeKalb County police .
"The victim was treated and released at a local hospital for his injuries."
Kid Rock, whose real name is Robert James Ritchie, suffered minor cuts and bruises in the fight and was also charged with criminal damage to property after a window was punched out during the fight.
He had just scored the first number one album of his career in the US charts with Rock N Roll Jesus. He was in Atlanta for a show he had performed earlier that evening.
