Kristen Stewart found Robert Pattinson perfect

martes, 21 de abril de 2009 |

Kristen Stewart knew Robert Pattinson would make the perfect Edward Cullen as soon as she met him.

Even though she has a boyfriend Kristen can see why girls fall head over heels in love with Rob.

Kristen told The Improper: "What makes him so appealing is that he's so sympathetic.

"During the audition, (Rob) was organically feeling the pain and fear of what his character was going through.

"I think that's why girls love him."

We wanted to know what makes you swoon over Rob and 9000 of you voted in our poll.

In first place was Rob's personality, followed by his voice and his hair.

His acting ability came in fourth place. In last place was his fashion sense with 663 votes.

Robert Pattinson wants a real woman

lunes, 20 de abril de 2009 |

Robert Pattinson doesn't mind being single.

It is alleged that the New Moon actor doesn't want to date bimbos or girls who are only interested in him because he is famous.

Rob told Seventeen magazine that fans shouldn't expect to see him surrounded by girls at a club anytime soon.

He said: "No! I don't even get into those places because I look like a bum when I go out.

"The paparazzi will all stand there filming me stuck outside clubs.

"I tell the bouncer, "Listen, these guys are taking photos of me — let me in!"

"It happens all the time."

When Rob does go out at night he is usually with Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and the rest of the New Moon cast.

They enjoy going out for meals together and watching bands perform.

Robert Pattinson 'Smells Like Roses'

viernes, 17 de abril de 2009 |

Robert Pattinson's New Moon co-star Alex Meraz has defended the actor against allegations he smells a bit off.

On-set sources were quoted as saying that the gloriously-haired actor has been stinking up filming on the Twilight sequel because he doesn't shower.

Rob denied this and pointed out that he hadn't actually set foot on the Vancover set at the time.

And castmate Alex seconds this.

"He smells like roses!" he tells E!online.

"The first time I met him, I was like, 'Dude, you smell fantastic!' I don't know where people get this stuff from."

Probably from people like the fan who spotted a dishevelled Rob at Los Angeles airport on Monday: "I was so disappointed. Rob's hair was a mess, he was so skinny and he was chewing his fingernails."

No word yet on his aroma...

Zac Efron Channels Robert Pattinson For GQ

miércoles, 15 de abril de 2009 |

Zac Efron shows off his buff body in a new retro shoot for GQ.

Sporting a quiff that Robert Pattinson would be proud of, the High School Musical hottie follows up the Twilight heartthrob's spread in the April issue with a few matinee idol poses of his own.

When he's not flashing those brilliant blues in a fitted 50s-style suit, Zac is swinging shirtless from a parking meter and leaping across a row of parked cars.

And whilst Rob attracted criticism for smoking in his GQ pictures, Zac is content to chew on a tooth pick.
The 17 Again star addresses his pretty-boy image in the accompanying interview, specifically the rumours that he wears false eyelashes.

"If somebody can find any photo that shows me wearing false eyelashes, I will give them a f***ing million dollars. That's bulls***," says the 21-year-old.

He does, however, admit to wearing make-up to "cover [his] zits".

Robert Pattinson's new food addiction

jueves, 9 de abril de 2009 |

Robert Pattinson loves eating spaghetti after filming his New Moon scenes.

He heads over to the Glowball and Satay Bar with Kristen Stewart, Ashley Greene and the rest of the New Moon cast.

The restaurant's manager told Ace Showbiz: "Robert enjoyed our special spaghetti dish which we make with Kobe beef meatballs - he has ordered it each time he dined with us.

"All the cast members who visited us were very friendly but we are used to having actors pop in because there is a lot of film production in Vancouver now.

"Robert seemed like a very chilled-out guy and despite the fact he is well on his way to becoming a huge star he was very polite and well-behaved."

The actors who play the Cullen family love hanging out together and catching up off set.

Robert Pattinson's sexy mission

viernes, 20 de marzo de 2009 |

Robert Pattinson knows how to be sexy.

It doesn't matter if he is wearing the dirtiest jeans or a designer suit - he is simply the sexiest guy on the planet.

Rob told The Inquirer how he made Edward Cullen sexy.

He said: "A lot of it has to do with not speaking - like that always makes somebody more attractive.

"I wasn't really trying to play Edward as a sexy guy, though. He's not very sexy in the book. It's like he's just kind of mysterious and his whole personality works from a template. So it creates more mystery and whatever he says seems very contrived.

"He always has a completely opposite thought to what he's saying in his head. He's always hiding things.

"A lot of the attraction to someone is always frustration and that's what a lot of the story is."

Robert Pattinson's cheat mistake

lunes, 16 de marzo de 2009 |

Robert Pattinson made a big mistake when he thought his girlfriend was cheating on him.

Robert revealed all to GQ magazine.

He said: "I remember when I was a teenager thinking my girlfriend was cheating on me, and going around riling myself up. Pretending to cry.

"It was totally illegitimate — I actually didn't feel anything. I went to some pub and then went crying all the way home.

"And I got into my dog's bed. I was crying and holding on to the dog. I woke up in the morning, and the dog was looking at me like, 'You're a fake.'"

To make things worse Rob found out that his girlfriend hadn't even cheated on him.

He explains: "I thought I'd seen her with another guy, but she wasn't even there. I spent three days apologizing to the dog."

Rob absolutely adores his dog Patty and hates having to leave her in London with his parents.

He won't get to see her for a while as he is filming New Moon and Eclipse back to back.

Sorry Ladies, Robert Pattinson Doesn't Want a Girlfriend Now

jueves, 12 de marzo de 2009 |

Robert Pattinson would like to clear something up: He's more like his prim Twilight character Edward than blogs would have you believe.

"There's literally not a single [true] story that could be written about me," Pattinson, 22, tells GQ for its April cover story, addressing rumors that he loves to party all night. "I never do anything."

"There's this thing about my supposed girlfriend," he says, referencing online gossip about his putatively scandalous dating life. "There's this one girl who's consistently mentioned. It's like, 'He's dating this Brazilian model.' What's her name – Annelyse? I've never met her."

Nor is he dating Camilla Belle, currently linked to Joe Jonas (of the Jonas Brothers), despite the fact that they were photographed walking together recently.

"I'm friends with Camilla," he says. "That's the extent of it. I mean, Camilla's the nicest – she's a saint. And it's funny that she's being portrayed as this home wrecker. She's literally the most unlikely person to be a home wrecker. It's just ridiculous."

In fact, the actor, who will soon appear as artist Salvador Dali in Little Ashes, says he's happily single.

"I don't see people," he says. "I don't even have people's phone numbers. I almost don't want to have a girlfriend in this environment."

Robert Pattinson isn't happy

jueves, 26 de febrero de 2009 |

Robert Pattinson might be one of the luckiest guys on the planet but he isn't happy.

It seems our favourite vampire misses the life he had before he was famous.

At the Oscars last weekend Rob seemed really nervous and unsure of what to say.

A source told E! online: "It's because [Hollywood] just so isn't his scene.

"All of this fame isn't what Rob's about."

Things should improve for Rob in the next few weeks once he starts filming New Moon.

He has been so busy promoting Twilight that he hasn't acted in ages.

All actors love to act so once Rob gets on set he should feel much better.

Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner will no doubt help him get a smile back on his face.

Robert Pattinson's shrinking body

miércoles, 18 de febrero de 2009 |

Robert Pattinson lost so much weight when he was training for Twilight that Catherine Hardwicke ordered him to eat more.

Rob told Entertainment Weekly: "I used to go to the gym for about five hours a day but then I started losing so such weight. My head started to look really huge in comparison to the rest of my body.

"(Director Catherine Hardwicke) came up to me and said, 'What are you doing to yourself?'

"(To gain weight) I literally stopped exercising. Eating a cheeseburger after two-and-a-half months of doing that - it tasted like ambrosia."

We better hope that Rob has learnt his lesson and won't be pushing himself so hard when he prepares for New Moon.

We don't want him to injury himself or become fitness obsessed.

After all, we love Rob just the way he is.

Robert Pattinson wants a girlfriend

lunes, 16 de febrero de 2009 |

Robert Pattinson can't find a girlfriend now he is a global superstar.

Rob told the Mirror all about his love problems.

He admitted: "I'm not dating anyone at the moment.

"But it's weird. If you try and chat people up, everyone's like, 'Oh, you're just an actor. You probably go around sleeping with everybody'.

"So fame has the opposite effect of what you'd expect."

We think these lucky girls should stop giving Rob a hard time and go on a date.

We would love to be his Valentine's date!

Robert Pattinson hates his photos

lunes, 9 de febrero de 2009 |

Robert Pattinson isn't a fan of having his photo taken.

He has admitted in the past that he doesn't like watching movies he is in but now it seems he won't even look at his own photos.

Rob told the LA Times: "When my parents say, 'Oh, did you see this photo?' I immediately start going, 'Don't tell me about photos!'

"I haven't watched anything since the premiere of 'Harry Potter.' And that's because I couldn't find a way out.

"It would have looked a bit bad for me to walk out."

Rob is going to have to change his ways as 2009 is set to be a big year for the 22-year-old.

He won't be able to avoid watching his own movies for very much longer

Robert Pattinson's Dancing with the Stars snub

viernes, 6 de febrero de 2009 |

However bad it gets for Robert Pattinson you won't see him on Dancing with the Stars or Big Brother.

Rob is serious about his acting career and if it doesn't work out he won't be becoming a Z-list celebrity.

He told OK how it felt to become famous overnight: ""It's scary because you have more to lose when everyone's saying it's your big break, and when people are starting to watch you it's scary.

"Also it's such a judgemental industry and audiences can be fickle because there's this whole celebrity
culture thing.

"If someone told me you're never going to get a job again but you can still do reality TV to keep up your profile, I'd just be like: 'Ummmm, no!"

We think it's a shame that we won't be seeing Rob on the dancefloor - we reckon he'd stand a good chance of following in the footsteps of Brooke Burke.

His British fans would love to see him eating bugs in the I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! jungle.

Robert Pattinson's fame death

jueves, 5 de febrero de 2009 |

Robert Pattinson doesn't seem to think he will be a big star for much longer.

He might have millions of fans and be the best actor Britain has produced in decades but Rob doesn't think his fame will last.

When he was asked by About.com whether his Harry Potter experience prepared him for 'the whole pop culture phenomenon of Twilight' he replied: "Having it die down afterwards.

"Having it being the hot thing for a few months and then it just going and no one giving a sh-t.

"It helps. It helps once you get used to it and know that no one will care. Once you're immune to failure, it's like nothing matters."

He was also asked if he was still doing music.

Rob joked: "Not so much anymore. Since I was on the soundtrack I've given up."

Robert Pattinson's kiss and tell

viernes, 16 de enero de 2009 |

Little Ashes star Robert Pattinson isn't scared of kiss and tells coming out about him.

Robert jokes that he would kill anyone who did decide to sell a story on him.

He told OK magazine: "I'd kill them! Actually I don't think I've had anything interesting enough to warrant a kiss and tell.

"Although I've been surprised with some acquaintances - they've been saying little things that you hear through the grapevine and you suddenly realise what someone's really like."

Robert doesn't have lots of showbiz friends so knows that he can trust them.

He added: "I've had a very close-knit group of friends for a really long time and I know that none of them would ever do anything like that."

Rob doesn't seem to rate himself very highly. When the magazine asked about his ex girlfriends he replied: "I don't think they'd even remember who I am."

Robert Pattinson wishes he was James in Twilight

jueves, 15 de enero de 2009 |

Robert Pattinson has just admitted that his favourite character in Twilight is James.

He told mädchen.de: "James. That's the only other character I would have like to have played."

We think Robert is far too good looking to play evil James as Stephenie Meyer describes him as quite unremarkable and average-looking in her book.

Plus Cam Gigandet makes a brilliant James so it would be hard for Rob to beat him.

If Robert could have any superpower he would pick the ability to stop and start time.

He has some reservations though: "I don't really want many superpowers because once you have superpowers people will just say 'Hey can you use your superpowers for this.'

"It's like having money, once you have loads of money everyones like 'Can I borrow some money' it's like I don't want to give you any of my superpowers alright."

Robert Pattinson's older woman love

miércoles, 14 de enero de 2009 |

Robert Pattinson isn't afraid to fancy women who are older than him.

Last year Robert had a bit of a crush on Hollow Man actress Elizabeth Shue.

When he was asked about this during an interview for Samedi Magazine he replied: "Yes, I remember. There was Elizabeth Shue, Patricia Arquette, who must be 50 today, and Dana Delany from Desperate Housewives.

"So what? Age doesn't matter to me and like I said I don't really have a type."

Robert also revealed that Twilight producers hadn't been too keen on him being Edward Cullen.

He says: "It's true. When they mentioned my name in high places, someone shrugged his shoulders and said: "Robert who?" They weren't ready to bet on a stranger.

"They would have loved to find a 17 year old Leonardo DiCaprio."

Robert Pattinson's murder worry

martes, 13 de enero de 2009 |

Millions of girls might love Edward Cullen like he is a real person but actor Robert Pattinson seems to think it's a bit strange.

The Twilight actor explained to Dose.ca: "If Edward was not a fictional character and you just met him in reality, you know, he's one of those guys who'd be like an axe murderer.

"He's ultra-polite and really formal all the time and like, 'Let me open the door! Let me carry the bags!'"

"Literally, you can just tell he'd freak out one day and shoot someone."

The 22-year-old isn't afraid to speak his mind and allegedly even told the author of Twilight Stephenie Meyer that she was wrong about Edward.

He explains: "(Stephenie) was saying that he was happier than I thought he was and he enjoyed certain aspects of his supernatural abilities, and I just thought he wouldn't at all.

"I was just thinking how much, if I was in his position, I'd just think 'Wow, I can jump really high. Great. But I have to kill people in return.'
"But you know, I can see where she was coming from. It's her creation at the end of the day."
