While Jennifer Aniston has been in Manhattan shooting for 'The Baster' she was determined to arrange a get-together with Brad Pitt, who was watching the kids at the Waldorf-Astoria while Angelina Jolie filmed 'Salt', the Star magazine reported.

"Jen made two appointments at the hotel's Guerlain Spas, hoping she would run into Brad" However she wasn't leaving it all to chance so she gave him a call.

"Jen called Brad to say she was in New York and would love to see him," the insider revealed.

"She wanted to talk to him about some things on her mind. Brad was only happy to catch up," the insider added.

However Angelina was not so pleased with the idea and she reportedly yelled at Pitt for half an hour.

"When Angelina arrived back at their hotel after a long, grueling day on the set, Brad let her know he'd decided to meet Jen for lunch. But for Angie, it wasn't just a simple lunch date. It was yet another instance of Jen crowding their relationship. Angie was blindsided, shocked and hurt."

"She yelled at him for a half-hour. She walked out of the room and told Brad, 'I can't even look at you right now,'" the insider added.

Angelina’s chauffeur reportedly picked her up, and she rode around the city for hours fuming in anger.

Brad Pitt, who was in Washington with his girlfriend Angelina Jolie, who was filming her spy thriller "Salt" in the American capital became the second member of the cast of the "Ocean's Eleven" to talk to Obama about policy.

Mr Obama has also hosted the 1970s band "Earth, Wind and Fire" and the singer Stevie Wonder at the White House, though not for performances rather than policy discussions.

After his wife Michelle had been treated by Wonder to a rendition of his "Isn't She Lovely", Mr Obama said: "I think it's fair to say that had I not been a Stevie Wonder fan, Michelle might not have dated me."

Jennifer Aniston Presents Oscar Award In Front of Brangelina

Jennifer Aniston went face to face with Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt at the 81st annual Academy Awards Sunday in Hollywood. It is first time all three have been in the same room since Pitt and Aniston split in 2005.

Along with Angelina Jolie’s Kung Fu Panda costar Jack Black , the Valentino-clad Aniston (who skipped the red carpet at Sunday’s show) presented Best Animated Feature.

They originally stood to the side of the stage.

When Black made a joke about how all Pixar films win Oscars, Aniston said: “I apologize Mr. Katzenberg [Jeffrey Katzenberg is the co-founder of Dreamworks], I don’t know why we let him out of the house.”

The camera then panned to Angelina Jolie, who laughed.

When Jennifer Aniston announced the nominees, she moved to the center of the stage, right in front of Jolie and Pitt. When the lights were down, Aniston smiled directly at Pitt, but not at Jolie.

Aniston then presented Best Short Film; both Pitt and Jolie kept huge smiles on their faces the entire time.

As Aniston walked off stage, Jolie and Pitt both clapped.

Black told afterwards: “Jen did fine. She’s a pro!”
Aniston and her date for the night, John Mayer , sat behind and to the side of Pitt and Jolie.
Asked earlier in the night if she was nervous, Aniston responded: “Yes!”

Brangelina trying for baby No. 7?

The " Changeling " actress and Pitt are making plans for baby number seven, according to reports.

"Angie is doing everything she can to get pregnant," a source told OK! magazine.

"She’s taking prenatal vitamins, has dramatically cut down on her junk-food consumption, and is seeing her obstetrician regularly whenever she’s back in L.A," the source added.

According to the magazine, doctors had warned Jolie not to conceive for at least a year after she having twins, Knox and Vivienne, last year, reports the New York Daily News.

Brad Pitt Builds 6 Homes for Hurricane-Struck Families, More to Follow

Brad Pitt made several New Orleans families who lost their homes in the disaster caused by Hurricane Katrina happier. The well-known and wealthy actor built six houses in the Lower 9th Ward neighborhood and several families will move in. It will be those families’ first holidays spent in their home since the destructive hurricane struck.

The houses were built with funds from Pitt's Make It Right foundation which was launched a year ago and aims to build 150 energy-efficient homes in a section of New Orleans where Hurricane Katrina broke levees in the summer of 2005 causing enormous damage.

Although Pitt is very happy to see the families moving in their new homes, the actor said it’s a “push-pull” for him because he cannot stop thinking about the other families who are still homeless.

“The excitement is that it's being proven, that it's working. The frustration is that we have a long way to go," Brad Pitt said according to The Associated Press.

Two other homes are under construction and the erection of 14 other begins in early 2009.

"You're going to see 100 homes here, mark my words. It's nice to see a few, but I'm anxious to see 100, 150, 1,000.," he said, adding that the Lower 9th Ward will most likely become one of the largest "green" neighborhoods in the U.S.

Meanwhile, Pitt and his lovely partner Angelina Jolie appeared at a screening of the actor’s new film "The Curious case of Benjamin Button." The two were, as expected, the highlight of the red carpet. Paramount Pictures and Warner Bros. chose to hold a special screening in New Orleans because the shooting for the film was done there.

Brad Pitt preparing a space 'Odyssey'

Brad Pitt is being lined up for an adaptation of Homer's "The Odyssey" set in outer space, reports said Friday.

The 44-year-old star, who played fearsome Greek warrior Achilles in 2004's "Troy", an adaptation of Homer's "The Iliad", is expected to star and may produce the film, Daily Variety reported.

Actress Angelina Jolie has revealed that she never wanted to get pregnant, but it was Brad Pitt who made her change her mind. The mother of six, who posed for Brad to shoot photos for the cover story of W fashion magazine while breast-feeding one of her 3-month-old twins, said that it had been a life altering experience.

"I think one of the life changing things that he did, one of many, is that I was absolutely never going to get pregnant," the New York Daily News quoted her as saying in the November issue of W magazine. She said: "I never felt that it was the right thing to do. Now I wouldn't trade that experience for the world."

The 33-year-old actress added that Brad loved her adopted children like a natural father and it was her love for him that changed her mind. She said: "[Brad] stopped talking about having other kids in the other way. So I suppose in my heart, I realized that he was happy with them as his children, completely. "I knew he would never see them as different, and that gave me a certain peace. "Then I suppose I just looked at him and loved him and just felt open to [getting pregnant]."

Pitt donates 100,000 US to support gay marriage rights

Film star Brad Pitt has donated 100,000 dollars to oppose a California referendum seeking to ban gay marriage, The Los Angeles Times reported.

Gay marriage has been legal in California since June.

But opponents of same-sex marriages collected enough signatures to force a referendum seeking to ban them. Called "Proposition 8," it goes before voters in the most populous US state November 4.

"Because no one has the right to deny another their life, even though they disagree with it, because everyone has the right to live the life they so desire if it doesn't harm another and because discrimination has no place in America, my vote will be for equality and against Proposition 8," the Times quoted Pitt as saying in a statement.

He and partner Angelina Jolie have said they would wed when everyone who wants to get married in the United States is able to do so. Same-sex marriages are illegal in most US states.

Hollywood actor Brad Pitt has proved that he’s a real life hero, as he saved a fan from falling into a lake.

The ‘Mr. And Mrs. Smith’ actor, who was at the Venice Film Festival, gladly agreed to sign autographs for a group of teenagers on a boat – but suddenly a fan tripped and fell into the lake.


Pitt rapidly rescued the shaken fan by pulling him back on the boat, reports Contactmusic.

The actor ensured the fan was back on the boat safely.

Meanwhile, the actor recently revealed that he wants to have two more kids with partner Angelina Jolie.

Angelina Jolie doctor was nervous at birth

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's doctor has admitted he felt added pressure delivering the couple's twin babies because of their fame.

Oscar-winning actress Jolie gave birth to son Knox Leon and daughter Vivienne Marcheline by Caesarean section in France on Saturday.

When asked on Europe 1 radio whether he was nervous beforehand, Dr Michel Sussmann said, "for sure".

He added: "It's true that there was pressure due to the couple's fame."

'Totally impossible'

Dozens of reporters, cameramen and photographers have been camped outside the Lenval hospital in Nice hoping to catch a glimpse of the babies.

Every effort has been made to protect the actors' privacy.

Last week the hospital issued a statement saying it was "totally impossible" for paparazzi to get photos.

Dr Sussman described Pitt, 44, who was at Jolie's side for the birth, as "perfectly calm" during the operation.

Of Jolie, he said: "She is a patient who was totally obedient, very calm, very kind."

He also said the couple, who also have one biological child together and three adopted children, were "an exemplary father and mother".

Marcheline was the first name of Jolie's mother, also an actress, who died of cancer last year.

It has been reported the pair have sold rights to the first photographs of the twins to an unnamed US magazine and would give the money to charity.

They came to a similar arrangement with Hello! magazine, soon after daughter Shiloh Nouvel was born in 2006.
