In an interview to Elle magazine, the 33-year-old actress admits that she felt ‘weird’ despite her husband goading her on. "It was more that neither Sam nor Leo seemed the slightest bit bothered,” the Mirror quoted Winslet as saying. "I was like, ''Is it just me who feels a bit weird about this? You know. My friend. My husband''.
"But it was just me. There's this amazing still that was taken on set of Leo and me kissing, and Sam is in the background.
"You can see this look of absolute intensity on his face and I knew all he was thinking about at that moment was the frame of the shot," she added.
Winslet insists that she and Di Caprio have a special chemistry on screen because they have stayed close since 1997 hit Titanic . "Leo's friendship is a major thing in my life. It's a big relationship,” she said.
"We met when we were very young and did this incredible film [Titanic], which changed both our lives, but the best thing to come out of it was this friendship," she added.
Kate had also suggested Leo for the part of Frank Wheeler in the new movie.

On the cover of the next edition of Vanity Fair Kate is seen on a fur rug wearing stockings and stilettos.
The 33 year old actress looks amazing and as she is known for being against airbrushed magazine shoots we can assume the pictures haven’t been retouched.
Vanity Fair once again proved they are not afraid to cause controversy – they published Miley Cyrus’s topless pictures a few months ago.

A dress specially designed for Kate Winslet has been bought at auction by a mystery bidder for £20,000.
The occasion launched Ms Winslet's role as ambassador of Cardboard Citizens, the UK's only homeless people's professional theatre company.
And the Vivienne Westwood creation, described as a "beautifully flowing deep red number", was sold just one day after the designer showed her collection for the first time in ten years.
The actress auctioned her outfit at the end of a charity evening at The Mandarin Oriental Hotel in London's Knightsbridge.
According to organisers, she quickly changed into an "ultra-chic all-black ensemble" following the winning bid.
The Westwood dress was then packaged up for the mystery bidder to take away.
The actress said: "I am delighted that the proceeds from the auction of the dress will make such a useful contribution to the wonderful work of Cardboard Citizens with homeless people in London."
She added: "Vivienne Westwood created the dress especially for me for this occasion and it is a really beautiful piece.
"I hope that the winning bidder enjoys wearing it as much as I did."
The Homeless People's Theatre Charity Dinner held on Friday raised a total of £150,000.
