Nelly Furtado: I’m Married to Demacio Castellon

Nelly Furtado has revealed that was married to sound engineer Demacio “Demo” Castellon over the summer. The singer says she and Castellon tied the knot on July 19 and so far, she loves married life.

“We got married July 19th. I love it. It’s a nice phase of my life,” she said. "I just feel kind of free and relaxed and more in tune with trying not to be so stressed out. [I'm] trying to enjoy things a little more."

Furtado and Castellon met in 2006 when they worked together on her album. They were engaged in 2007.

“I’m happy…I’m excited about the future,” she added.
