The medical problem which has led singer Janet Jackson to call off a number of gigs has been revealed as migraines linked to vertigo.
Symptoms of the illness include dizziness and loss of balance but her manager, Kenneth Crear, said the star was now feeling "much better".
Jackson cancelled several concerts in United States and Canada on her first North American tour in seven years.
"She is ready to hit the road again to finish the tour," Mr Crear added.
The gigs will resume on Wednesday night in Washington, DC.
"She's a world-class entertainer and needs to be at the top of her game to give her fans the show they expect," he told the Associated Press.
New dates will be announced for gigs which were due to be held in Montreal, Boston and Philadelphia, plus others in Greensboro, North Carolina; Fort Lauderdale, Florida; and Uncasville, Connecticut.
