Dancing On Ice - Holly Willoughby says she won't stay in touch

Dancing On Ice presenter Holly Willoughby claimed she does not plan on keeping in touch with many of the celebrities who appeared on the show.

Citing an interview with Celebs on Sunday, Digital Spy reported that ex-Pop Idol runner-up Gareth Gates and co-presenter Phillip Schofield are the only people she plans to remain in contact with now that the show has finished for another year.

"Gareth Gates is a good mate of mine and I love Phillip Schofield - he's so wonderful," Holly said.

"But I'm only ever down in the studio on a Sunday doing the show. We always have a send-off drink for whoever leaves that night, but it's not like, 'Hey, come round for dinner'."

The blonde presenter - who turned heads in a black strapless sequined gown during the final skate-off yesterday evening - said before the event that she was looking forward to the wrap party after the show, particularly the free drinks vouchers.

Around 12 million people are thought to have watched the Dancing On Ice final, an increase from the 9.6 million who reportedly watched last year's ice dancing extravaganza.

Digital Spy said the increase in viewers could be partially attributed to a scheduling shake-up which saw the show moved to Sunday night.
