Vanessa Hudgens Nude Photos Scandal: She Speaks Out!

Vanessa Hudgens shocked the celebrity world in 2007 when she stripped for a photograph and posed completely in the buff for what was meant to be a very private photo. As the World Wide Web turns, the picture was somehow leaked. Many have speculated that it was e-mailed and then once it made the rounds it was out on the market.

The National Enquirer broke the story about two weeks before the photo hit that it was being shopped around and someone was looking to sell the scandalous picture. However, it appears that no one did as it leaked to the Internet and by that time it was absolutely everywhere, winding up in everyone's inbox.

There were several saucy snaps that were taken and then leaked but the full frontal photo shocked moms and dads as they had several questions coming in from their tween kids about the whole episode. Many believed that the photo was a look-alike and other believed that the photo must have been doctored or photoshopped.

But in a pretty bold and stunning move Vanessa fessed up early on during the scandal and had her representative issue a statement letting everyone know that the photo was real and it was supposed to be private.

Vanessa was in Australia when the story broke and she tells "Seventeen's" flirty issue that she was happy that she wasn't in the states when the story hit a fever pitch. "Thank God, I wasn’t home — it would have sucked."

She added that she was traumatized by the entire scandal and she adds that she hopes that she hopes her fans learn from her mistake.
