Jennifer Love Hewitt Refuses to Pose for Playboy

Jennifer Love Hewitt has turned down Hugh Hefner's offer to pose nude in Playboy. The rejection comes on the back of the 28-year-old's lambasting of bloggers who poked fun at less than flattering bikini shots taken by the paparazzi.

"I've sat by in silence for a long time now about the way women's bodies are constantly scrutinised. To all girls with butts, boobs, hips and a waist put on a bikini - put it on and stay strong," she wrote on her website.

She is not the first high profile woman to turn down Playboy with Christina Aguilera, Jessica Alba, Katherine Heigl and Ashlee Simpson all turning down offers in the past. Hewitt is reportedly "pretty conservative, but... very proud of her body."
