Charlotte Church's fella Gavin Henson was questioned by police over allegations of a disturbance on a London to Cardiff train on Sunday night.
The rugby star, 25, and 3 friends were quizzed after passengers claimed 4 young men swore at them on the 7.37pm from Paddington.
'They were vomiting, spitting, swearing and intimidating others and punching each other,' alleges witness Melody Jones, 44. 'This man is someone children look up to but he wasn't a man at all. He was an animal.
'If I heard the 'c' word once I heard it 500 times.'
Gavin is believed to have been out partying in London to celebrate a crucial rugby league win.
Police met the train at Cardiff Central station just before 10pm after the on-board crew radioed for help.
'We did have reports of unruly behaviour on board,' a police spokesman tells the Daily Mirror.
'A man aged 25 from Wick, a man aged 26 and a man aged 33 from Bridgend and a man aged 25 from St Brides Major were spoken to. All four are helping with inquiries.'
Gavin's club Ospreys says the incident was just high jinks: 'Spirits were high among the group, given the nature of the victory, and they apologise for any inconvenience to passengers.'
Gavin's agent declined to comment.
Charlotte, 21, was at home in St Brides Major, Glamorgan, with their nine-week-old daughter Ruby.
