Britney Spears gets visit from Child Welfare

There are raising concerns of the safety and welfare of the pop star's young sons when they are in the care of Britney Spears.

Britney Spears is once again being investigated by the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services on child abuse claims.

Divorce judge Scott Gordon has released 300 pages of documents with one saying that officials have concerns on the safety and welfare for Britney's young sons. One page of the document says that Britney has left her children unsupervised on several occasions.

The release of the legal papers comes after Spears' legal team asked the judge to keep the custody

and visitation schedules private, arguing that the singer needs confidentiality in order to minimize the chance that unscrupulous journalists will gain unwelcome access to her and the kids.

Another document has confirmed that the department has multiple "child abuse and neglect referrals" regarding the pop star and ex-husband Kevin Federline. Most of the allegations are reportedly considered random and frivolous.

The designated department told the court that until their investigation is complete, they request that the children remain with Kevin Federline and that visitations remain monitored for Britney Spears. They also request that Britney continue active drug testing and attend counselling.

Britney Spears is also asked by welfare officials to undergo a complete mental health evaluation. This decision awaits a ruling by judge Scott Gordon.
