Britney Spears and Little Sister Jamie Lynn Spears Make Christmas Fun

Britney Spears used to be the family train wreck while Jamie Lynn Spears maintained that she was the levelheaded of the two sisters. Those roles didn't exactly swap this week but it was close. Jamie Lynn announced that she is now in the family way and she will pop out Casey Aldridge's baby in about six months. Just in time for Christmas, the Spears girls deliver some love to American families for discussion.

Britney didn't miss a beat. When she was first told that her sister was pregnant she denied it as it appeared the family hadn't told her the news. And why would they, if they had spilled to Britney she would have let it sip to one of the photographers that follow her to all corners of Los Angeles and that would have ruined the exclusive for OK! magazine.

Since the announcement, Jamie Lynn hasn't been out and there are no sightings of the young mother-to-be. When she was asked if the pregnancy was unplanned she answered yes. While that query posed to any sixteen year old seems ludicrous there are many that are speculating that Jamie Lynn got knocked up 'just for the attention.'

Certainly she has had the spotlight turned off Britney and on to her for the time being. The toxic sisters have certainly made Christmas fun for the tabloids, and a nightmare for parents of the young ones that watch "Zoey 101."
