British royal Sarah Ferguson has tried her hand at film making - producing a new movie about late monarch Queen Victoria.
The Duchess of York teamed up with Martin Scorsese to produce The Young Victoria, which stars Emily Blunt as the royal in her younger years.
Gosford Park Oscar winner Julian Fellowes has written the screenplay and Jean-Marc Vallee will direct.
Ferguson explains her role to the New York Post, "I wrote the two historical novels on her (Queen Victoria's) life. Emily Blunt plays Victoria, Rupert Friend is Prince Albert, and there's Natasha Richardson and Jim Broadbent. They're editing it now."

Elizabeth Hurley put on an ladylike wardrobe malfunction lat night when she flashed her knickers at the crowd at Bloomingdale's Goes Pink launch.
The normally graceful star was hosting a charity event at the New York department store, when her bright fuschia dress rode up to reveal her nude-coloured undies.
Liz continued to address her audience, blissfully unaware that she was showing off far more than intended.
The actress-turned-bikini designer was in the Big Apple to take part in the launch of Bloomingdale's month-long breast cancer campaign.
The 122-year-old department store will be illuminated in pink all month as well as hosting numerous fund-raising activities and selling products with proceeds going towards cancer charities.

Sharon Stone Denies Botox for Son’s Smelly Feet Claims

Hollywood star Sharon Stone has responded to recent reports in the media that she had recommended Botox injections for a foot odor problem her 8-year-old son had, denying the claims.
The “Basic Instinct” actress did not succeed in having son Roan, 8, move to Los Angeles with her, as a San Francisco court ruled last month that former husband Phil Bronstein “shall have permanent sole physical custody of child.”
Court papers show that the judge handling the case ruled that Bronstein’s home was more stable and structured and thus guaranteed a better environment for the child. Bronstein, and now Roan, reside in San Francisco.
Sharon Stone lives in Los Angeles and she had requested that the boy spend more of the school year with her. The judge’s ruling means that an already existing custody arrangement between the former spouses remains in place.
Sharon Stone and Phil Bronstein, a newspaper executive, married in 1998 in what appeared to be a match made in heaven. The union unfortunately ended in divorce six years later but complications arose, as the two had adopted little Roan.
Stone later adopted two more sons, Laird, 4, and Quinn, 2, in 2005 and 2006, respectively.
The judge said Roan’s moving to Los Angeles would entail an “overwhelming sense of loss.” The little boy can currently visit his mother one or two weekends a month during the school year.
What attracted media attention was the judge’s harsh description of Stone as a mother, whom she called an over-reacting parent and also gave examples of situations when she had been thus: saying the little boy had a spinal condition, when it was found he didn’t, and recommending that he get Botox injections to solve a foot odor issue.
A lawyer for the actress responded to the reports Thursday, denying them vigorously.

A Las Vegas jury is deliberating whether O.J. Simpson and his co-defendant are guilty of the armed robbery and kidnapping of two sports memorabilia dealers.
The 61-year-old former football star and his golfing buddy Clarence "C.J." Stewart each face five years to life in prison if convicted.
Court spokesman Michael Sommermeyer says the jury is expected to deliberate throughout the day. He says whether they will return to deliberate Saturday is "up to them."
Deliberations began 13 years to the day after Simpson was acquitted of killing his ex-wife and her friend.

Britney Spears’ ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib has denied claims that he is trying to sell a Britney Spears tape featuring him and the singer.
The paparazzi photographer, who dated Britney Spears during her public meltdown, wants to file a lawsuit and is said to be very distressed. “There is no sex tape. I’m extremely upset and taking legal action,” the Sun quoted him, as saying.
The 2-hour long tape was allegedly shot while the duo was holidaying in Mexico earlier this year – around the same time when Britney was struggling with depression, drug addiction and nervous breakdowns.
Following the alleged claims that it would soon be sold to websites bidding the highest amount, Britney had reportedly tried to buy the video herself to prevent it from being leaked onto the Internet.
The pop icon had decided to part with the 35-year-old photographer after believing that he was trying to sell their pictures across.

Britney Spears' ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib has confirmed there is a tape of the pair.
The British paparazzo claims he and Britney - who reportedly wears nothing but a pink wig throughout the video - made the footage while on holiday in Mexico, and admits he is considering selling the two-hour tape for "the right price".
He is quoted by Heat magazine as saying: "There is such a tape, but I won't discuss prices for hypothetical enquiries. Unless there is a locked-in deal, I will go no further."
It was previously claimed the tape, which had never before been confirmed, features 20 minutes of full sex between Britney and Adnan after a lengthy foreplay session.
A source said: "The video starts with Britney undressing. She was wearing some cheap clothes.
At one point in the tape Adnan asks Britney to remove the pink wig but she refuses, saying, 'Take what off? There's nothing left to take off.' " Britney wouldn't be the only celebrity to be the victim of a tape scandal.
Paris Hilton, Pamela Anderson, Kim Kardashian and Verne Troyer have all featured in raunchy videos.

Daniel Radcliffe, who became a household name as 'Harry Potter', has grown up substantially since those early days of wizardry. This has been evidenced in his role as an, at times entirely naked, horse-obsessed stable boy for the Broadway production 'Equus'.
To turn the heat up a notch, the young star has revealed he gave his 31-year-old co-star Lorenzo Pisonia series of steamy notes on the show's opening night.
Daniel said: "We're getting on very well indeed. I've written some really, really deeply sexual things on some of the cards I've given him for opening night. But just to wind him up, you know." After showing himself in the buff onstage for the production of 'Equus', the young star's next naked appearance will be in a scene of 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows'. He said: "At first I thought I had pants on. Apparently not!"
Daniel says he isn't too worried about people seeing him naked on the big screen. He said: "It's all old hat now, really!"

A distraught Kim Kardashian could not be consoled after being the surprise third casualty of Dancing with the Stars Tuesday night.
Though she and partner Mark Ballas concluded the show with a playful rendition of one of their earlier dances, once the cameras were off Kardashian rushed to the waiting arms of her family and immediately broke down into tears.
Kardashian’s publicist followed the inconsolable bombshell around the press line with a box of Kleenex since, once the waterworks started, there was no stopping the outpouring of genuine emotion.
“What can I say… I am obviously sad to go,” Kardashian blogged on her Web site the next day, “but I am more sad to not be seeing this amazing cast that really has grown so close together.”
“It was a tough day for her,” Ballas said after the show, “and we talked about it, and I imagine it will always be a sad day for her. I just hope that her time on the show was magical for her, and, at the end of the day, I will always be so proud that I was the one holding her hand up there.”
As it turns out, though brimming with potential, and with “assets” to spare, Kardashian couldn’t overcome her one, surprising stumbling block: Her shyness. “What people don’t realize about her,” stepfather Bruce Jenner told PEOPLE, “Is that she is incredibly shy. She’s a smart business woman, but a very shy and quiet girl.”
“I know I wasn’t the best dancer and I never claimed to be,” Kardashian blogged. “I have never taken a dance class in my life until now! But WOW what an incredible experience!”
With the Keeping Up with the Kardashians wrap party waiting across town, the teary-eyed beauty quickly said a round of goodbyes, and disappeared with her family in tow.
Judge Carrie Ann Inaba, who shared a long hug with Kardashian after the show, told PEOPLE, “This could have been a great opportunity for her to blossom and show the world that she is more than just a beautiful face.”
Inaba added, “I don’t think she really understood what it was that she got into when she joined the show. It looks very glamorous, and it looks easy, but dancing is so athletic, and so difficult, and it’s not easy to improve each week, and that’s exactly what we demand from the contestants on the show.”
