Jason Mraz just posted pictures on his Myspace, showing off his shirtless self in his bikini briefs. And here’s what the 30-year-old singer/songwriter wrote to accompany his pictures:
On preparing his own meals: “Time zone hopping and the hyper robotic routine of touring require energy levels to be consistent and my schedule isn’t one that affords me any sick days. So I travel with a chopping knife and a cutting board. Rather than rely on room service and overpriced restaurant versions of vegetarian cuisine, I shop at local grocers and eat my own delicious homemade meals. The knife, a classic single layer stainless steel, in addition to raising concerns with airport security, is also good for shocking housekeeping staff. My DO NOT DISTURB sign is in constant use during any hotel stay, yet all maids seem to have this incredible urge to assist and clean. Thus, opening the door in bikini briefs gripping a 10-inch blade makes my point. I can make my own bed.
On his healthy green machine: “I also bring along a Vita-Mix blender, a powerhouse of a tool. I start each day with a crazy ass Superfood Smoothie that most people refer to as, the Green Sludge.”
On what’s in his fridge: “Super Greens, Hemp Protein, Goji Juice, Coconut Water, Flax Seed Oil, My own homemade cashew milk, Raw Cacao, Bee pollen, sometimes a banana, a little crushed ice, toad knuckles, agave nectar, Stevia, and/or Natural Vaginal Juices to sweeten to your liking.”
On eating healthy: “If it seems costly it’s not. I think about the cost my body pays for eating processed food and immediately I’m happy about the investment of time finding these natural alternatives. ALTERNATIVES? How did we let nature’s supply take a back seat and become so hard to reach? You are what you eat. And since April 1st, this has been an experiment worthy of the effort. My trusty sidekick, Toca Rivera, has also been eating this way, relying only on raw and natural foods. We started this diet when Toca discovered he was Diabetic. But now, thanks to eating REAL food, his numbers are closer to normal and soon his blood tests will not reveal any sign of Diabetes.”
On maintaining his good eats: “I will likely keep this up for a long time. I don’t crave any other foods anymore. Anything processed just doesn’t seem real. I may as well eat cardboard if it has the same nutritional value. And I’ll keep getting creative with food. That’s the best part. I’m starting to see myself in the meals I make. And I have no trouble spending hours in the grocery store reading the labels and talking with other customers. Plus, hot girls fresh from yoga hang out in natural food stores. And I suspect they’re horny. More and more people are getting excited about health and we’re all tired of being offered cheap replicas of food. We want change and we believe we CAN have it.”

Obama eyes history, Clinton refuses to quit
Publicado por Shujel en 11:15 | Etiquetas: Hillary Clinton, Obama
Democrat Barack Obama edged towards becoming the first black presidential nominee in US history Tuesday, but Hillary Clinton's camp denied reports she was about to fold her campaign.
Voters in the last two states, Montana and South Dakota, closed out a historic and often bitter coast-to-coast nomination duel, as the Democratic Party coalesced around its all but certain 2008 general election champion.
With Obama apparently poised for victory, reports surfaced that Clinton was ready to admit defeat and acknowledge Obama had the nomination secured, at a "celebration" rally on Tuesday night.
But her campaign issued a statement denying the reports, and several close aides vehemently pushed back against the idea that she would quit.
"Senator Clinton will not concede the nomination this evening," a statement from the Clinton campaign read, saying reports that she would do were wrong.
"Not true," another aide said, on condition of anonymity, when asked whether she would throw in the towel.
Obama's team meanwhile nudged superdelegates -- top party insiders -- to jump on his bandwagon, so he would reach the magic number of 2,118 delegates and set off a raucous victory rally in Minnesota later Tuesday.
Even Clinton's most upbeat cheerleader, campaign chairman Terry McAuliffe admitted that if the mathematics favored Obama, there was little she could do.
"If Senator Obama gets the number, I think Hillary Clinton will congratulate him, call him the nominee," he told NBC.
"She has given her heart and soul to this campaign. We'll go through today. Let's see where the numbers are," he said.
While an expected flood of superdelegates towards Obama had yet to materialize, there were whispers in Congress that lawmakers may move once polls close in South Dakota and Montana.
James Clyburn, an influential African-American leader and a giant in Congress, endorsed Obama early Tuesday and urged other unpledged superdelegates to make their choices known.
"Today, the process ends. And I hope that enough of us will announce our intentions today so that this evening our candidate, our nominee, presumptive nominee, will be able to credit the voters of this country with having achieved a threshold of 2,118," the South Carolina representative told NBC television.
By late morning, Obama was fewer than 40 delegates short of the nomination. Thirty-one delegates are up for grabs in South Dakota and Montana, and he was expected to win just over half of them.
Regardless, Illinois Senator Obama, 46, planned to train his full fire on potential general election rival John McCain, with a daring foray into the same Minnesota sports arena where Republicans will crown their nominee in September.
Clinton was to appear in her home state of New York, prompting speculation she might step aside at a "celebration" event in Manhattan on Tuesday night.
Obama, the former community organizer who has scaled the heights of US politics after just three years in the Senate, already had an eye on healing his party after a nominating duel which cleaved it down the middle.
He divulged some of the content of his congratulatory telephone call to the former first lady after her thumping win in the Puerto Rico primary on Sunday, which boosted her morale but could not dent his control of the race.
"I emphasized to her what an extraordinary race that she's run," Obama told reporters in Michigan Monday.
At a rally in South Dakota, the former first lady said she would focus on winning over superdelegates, top party officials who can vote how they like at the party's August convention in Denver.
"Tomorrow is the last day of the primaries and the beginning of a new phase in the campaign," Clinton said, according to the Washington Post.
Voting began at 7:00 am in parts of South Dakota (1200 GMT) and an hour later in the rest of that state and Montana.
Polls were to close at 7:00 pm in South Dakota (0000 and 0100 GMT Wednesday), and at 8:00 pm in Montana (0200 GMT).

Vanity Fair Claims Bill Clinton Seeing Gina Gershon
Publicado por Shujel en 11:11 | Etiquetas: Bill Cinton
A Vanity Fair Magazine article claimed Monday that Bill Clinton was spending too much time with other women on the road, including actress Gina Gershon.
The article, which was written by Todd S. Purdum, insists that Clinton's philandering was a large distraction on the campaign trail for his wife, Senator Hillary Clinton.
Purdum, the husband of Clinton's first press secretary Dee Dee Myers, claims that Clinton hangs with a group of aged misfits and his "cavernous narcissism" has been a detriment to Hillary's campaign.
Purdum also bashed Clinton for not disclosing enough of his personal information nor financial information on the donors of the Clinton library.
The Vanity Fair article also said that Clinton had very frequent dinners with Belinda Stronach, visits with Gershon and several other women across the nation.

The stars of screen and fashion came together last night for the year's most stylish awards ceremony, the 2008 council of fashion Designers of America Fashion Awards.
Taking place at New York's Public Library, the evening became something of a tribute to Yves Saint Laurent, with many attendees, including Naomi Campbell, wearing styles from the late designer.
Diane Von Furstenberg paid tribute to YSL, who was an old friend, in her opening speech, 'Yves was an artist who always surprised us. He used to say he wanted to be Matisse, but I think Matisse would have wanted to be him.'
Big winners of the night included Calvin Klein designer Francisco Costa for womenswear, menswear winner Tom Ford and Tory Burch for accessories.
Costa's designs also proved a hit amongst the celebrity guests, with both Eva Mendes and Cynthia Nixon choosing his stunning styles.
Other stylish stars included Victoria Beckham, who honoured Marc Jacobs in a one-shouldered heavily ruffled gown from his autumn/winter collection and Maggie Gyllenhaal in a green checkerboard tunic by Proenza Schouler.

Larry Mendte, a popular newscaster in Philadelphia, is under investigation by the FBI for hacking into the email of former co-worker Alycia Lane, according to reports on Monday.
Mendte, the news anchor for KYW-TV (CBS3) in Philadelphia, is under investigation by the FBI for hacking into hundreds of Lane's private Yahoo email messages. Mendte, anchors the 6pm and 11pm evening broadcasts daily, is currently withheld from CBS 3 broadcasts pending the results of the investigation.

In December 2007, Lane was charged with one felony count of assault on a police officer after assaulting a female police officer in New York City. In January 2008, Lane was fired from KYW-TV.

Kate Moss lost out on a 500,000 pound deal with lingerie firm Agent Provocateur to the unknown 20-year-old model Alice Dellal.
The 34-year-old Moss will be replaced by the half-Brazilian socialite who wears a nose ring and posed for a photo shoot recently in secret, reports thesun.co.uk. This will overshadow the bridal lingerie campaign by Moss who was chosen even after the cocaine-snorting controversy.
“Everyone is stunned. Kate’s shots were really well received, but bosses thought it’s time to move on. They want a fresh new face and think they’ve found just the candidate in Dellal,” said a source.

Darius Danesh's flop musical Gone With The Wind closes
Publicado por Shujel en 12:15 | Etiquetas: News
Darius Danesh's flop musical Gone With The Wind has been axed after only 79 performances.
The Scots singer and actor had been praised for his performance as Rhett Butler in the £4million production.
But the show, directed by Trevor Nunn, finally fell victim to falling ticket sales and a mauling by the critics.
The end of the show is a setback for Darius, 27, from Bearsden, Glasgow.
The former Pop Idol contestant had been regarded as one of the rising stars of the West End after appearing in Chicago and the Olivier Award-winning Guys And Dolls.
The producers had hoped to take Gone With The Wind to Broadway but that move now seems unlikely.
Producer Aldo Scrofani said: "From the beginning of our journey, we have all worked hard to achieve the realisation of putting Margaret Mitchell's classic novel, Gone With The Wind on the London stage.
"Despite the critical response, the company have enjoyed much praise from audience members during our run and for that we are grateful.
"Nevertheless, we have made the difficult decision to close the production and plans for a New York production are on hold.
"But in the meantime, we are pursuing various options that have been presented to us from interested parties worldwide."
