Aaron Eckhart has hinted he may return for the next Batman film.
The actor - who played District Attorney Harvey Dent and later the villainous Two-Face in 'The Dark Knight' - suggested the audience may have been deceived by the apparent demise of his character.
He said: "I think Harvey - if he's not dead - is in a serious coma, and I'm not sure he's coming out. They might pull the plug on him."
At the end of 'The Dark Knight', Batman pushes Two-Face off a building and leaves him lying on the ground.
Aaron also hinted that director Christopher Nolan - who helmed both 'Batman Begins' and 'The Dark Knight' - has now signed up to make another film in the franchise.
He added: "There are so many possibilities for the next movie. Chris is such an amazing genius that he'll come up with something great."
