Mariah Carey's Husband 'Surprised' by Her Diva Demands

Mariah Carey's husband Nick Cannon is said to be 'surprised' by the pop superstar's demanding nature.

According to Britain's Now! magazine, the pair -- who married in a secret ceremony in the Caribbean less than three-months-ago -- are already having problems.

A source tells the publication, "Things are really bad between them.

"The honeymoon period was over before it began.

"Nick's been surprised at just how demanding his wife is. He moans that she has him waiting on her hand and foot.

"He's realized that he doesn’t really like her very much."

The couple wed on 30 April after dating for just 5 weeks, and even Nick’s friends predicted the marriage wouldn't last 6 months.

"Mariah treats him like an assistant," a source said. "Not like an equal or her husband."
