Yo-Yo Jessica sheds curves again

Jessica Simpson's vow to enjoy her sumptuous size 16 curves lasted only two months it seems after the singer crashed back to her old weight to sing on stage this week.

The singer's yo-yo-ing weight became a topic of national debate after everyone from Dolly Parton to Barack Obama spoke out about her sudden balloon in shape over New Year.

But less than three months on, after she declared 'curves are better', the 5ft 3 country singer was looking back at her slim best on stage.

Toned down and bronzed, the country singer ditched her plus sized jeans for her old denim hot pants to thrill the crowds at the final night of the Strawberry Festival Sunday in America.

Just a few months back The Dukes of Hazzard actress, 28, was happy to wave away her struggles to maintain her one time 36-24-36 frame.

'Honestly, I am right where I'm supposed to be. I am so happy,' she said after revealing a string of hellish diets and exercise regimes.

'Curves are better. I don't get the whole rail thing. It's not good for your heart, it's not good for your mind; it's emotionally destructive, it really is.'

Now she's had a change of heart with summer on the horizon. Our bet's on a top selling fitness and diet DVD any day now.
