Madonna is set to find out on Friday if she will be given permission to adopt a second Malawian child. According to 'The New York Times', the adoption is opposed by some human rights groups who believe Malawian authorities have given Madonna special treatment in allowing a non-resident to adopt a child.
According to the Queen of Pop's lawyers, she is asking for an interim adoption of 18 months to prove her suitability as a mother. One local newspaper also said that she wants another child as a sister for her previous Malawian adoptee, David Banda.
