Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson Post First Photo of Their Baby

Some celebrities just don’t take advantage of the fact that everybody knows them. Let’s take Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz as an example of celebrities who don’t take advantage of their little baby to make more money. The two weren’t so interested in giving away photos of Bronx Mowgli to different magazines and gain the cover of People magazine or OK! magazine for a month.

Instead, Simpson and Wentz wanted to make their baby’s public debut through a photo of the three posted on Christmas Day on FriendsOrEnemies.com, Fallout Boy’s official website. Bronx Mowgli was born on November 20 and weighed 7 lbs., 11 oz and measured 20 ½ inches at birth.

Yet, the two gave to the baby a really weird name which has been widely discussed. But the parents explained that his middle name came from one of their favorite stories, “Jungle Book.” Wentz told Ryan Seacrest that Mowgli “it’s a cool name” but when asked about Bronx, he didn’t know the exact origins of this name.

He just said that they came up with the idea Bronx after they had been searching through all kinds of other names. Wentz added that he thinks it’s better to “leave the narrative what it is” and to not really care about other people’s opinions because nobody has the real story.

Simpson and Wentz wrote on a special holiday homepage that they had published the photo of their baby after they had decided it would be best to share their most precious gift in the spirit of holidays.
