Just a couple of days after the entire cyber space was packed with reports claiming an engagement between supermodel Gisele Bundchen and her boyfriend of two years, Tom Brady, the pair’s families explain that the are unaware of such news, which would definitely call for celebrating.

Although TMZ.com and E! News announced on Friday that the benched New England Patriots quarterback asked the 28-year-old Brazilian model to be his wife during a flight on a private jet on Christmas Eve, Tom Brady’s dad told the Boston Globe that he had not been informed with regard to such an event. He explained that he and his family had talked to the football star and that he had not offered them any details. He added that reports were nothing but mere rumors and joked that the news day might have been lethargic.

In addition, Gisele Bundchen’s sister, Patricia, also rejected reports concerning the model’s engagement and told the Boston Herald that the rumor was “not true.”

In spite of the fact that the couple’s families might be trying to conceal the real thing so as to leave the lovebirds some time for themselves, Gisele Bundchen was not spotted wearing an engagement ring.

Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen have both drawn attention throughout the past years with their headline-hitting previous relationships and break-ups.
