"My Own Worst Enemy" and "Lipstick Jungle" are killed, and "Kath and Kim" continues on for a full-season pick up. TV logic at its very fuzziest.
NBC announced they canceled both series due to poor ratings.
"Lipstick Jungle" was into its second season, but "My Own Worst Enemy" didn't even have time to find an audience.
The Hollywood Reporter broke the news, stating "Lipstick Jungle" failed to attract much more than 3 million viewers in its Friday night timeslot.
Christian Slater's thriller was bringing in 4.3 million viewers.
Let's all be real here for a minute: "Enemy's" slot at 10 pm on a Monday night is akin to stepping in a pile of dog feces and trying to navigate a white carpet. No show seems to do well here.
Not known is when "Enemy" will wrap in the season. I reiterate; why oh why, NBC, could it not have been "Kath and Kim"?
