I'm A Celebrity: stars to enter camp on Saturday

The stars of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! 2008 are due to enter camp on Saturday - and there are some shocks in store for them on arrival.

As in previous years, the camp has once again been split in two - this year with the theme of Home and Away.

And while those in the Home camp will get to sleep in beds in a London bus and enjoy meals of bangers and mash if they win Bushtucker trials, those in the Away camp will be forced to sleep on a rat-infested floor and dine on kangaroo meat.

They will also be provided with a camper van to store their belongings, but will not be allowed to sleep in it.

Those celebs who break the rules, meanwhile, face being confined to a filthy jail suspended in mid-air, with only basic facilities.

And show producers are promising some of the hardest Bushtucker trials ever - with on site medic Bob McCarron saying that he grilled the celebs on their worst fears prior to their arrival in camp.

"Nicola McLean is terrified of everything," he told the Mirror, "and Joe Swash has said he's up for anything. But I reckon he'll be vomiting back to camp after the trials."

The former EastEnder is currently the bookies favourite to win the show, with Paddy Power offering odds of 7-2 on him being crowned King Of The Jungle.

Star Trek veteran George Takei is second favourite, followed by Esther Rantzen and Simon Webbe at 6-1.

Smooth-talking politician Robert Kilroy Silk is the outsider to win at 20-1.

The show begins on ITV1 at 9pm on Sunday night.
