Hilary Duff is set to return to TV

Having made her name in the series 'Lizzie McGuire', Hilary Duff is to return to television screens.

Variety reports that Duff has signed a one-year talent and development deal with NBC which will see the network develop a series in which she will star.

Duff will also guest star in various NBC series.

The actress will now meet writers and look at NBC's development schedule before deciding on the starring-project.
