Dale Howard has become the eighth contestant to be evicted from the Big Brother house.

Up against Stuart Pilkington last night, he received 63 per cent of the public's vote and was forced to leave the house.

Both housemates had previously said they wanted to be up for eviction this week and were duly nominated by their fellow contestants.

Dale was nominated by Mohammed, Rex and Sara, with the latter saying: "I know he really wants to go, and I feel so bad saying this because I really get along with him.

She added that his complaining of her singing wouldn't be missed though.

"He doesn't let me Kat and Rachel sing. He just hates our singing and he goes on about it all the time."

Speaking to the show's host Davina McCall after he left the house, Dale said he was happy to have left the house.

"I've been away for 11 weeks now, and the only way to come out and have a well-rounded experience is to have my week on Big Brother's Little Brother, as it’s the only time people are gonna care what's I've got to say. Stu's devastated that he's not gone," he said.
