Rex and Belinda face eviction from Big Brother 9

Rex Newmark and Belinda Harris Reid are to face the public vote on Big Brother 9, reports claim.

According to the Sun newspaper, the 24-year-old chef has been nominated for the second time while new entrant Belinda, 44, has irritated housemates with her loud snoring.

One of the two contestants will be evicted from Big Brother during Friday night's live show.

Meanwhile, albino songwriter Darnell Swallow was elected 'head of house' and picked Rex, Mohamed Mohamed, Kathreya Kasisopa, Rachel Rice and Maysoon Shaladi to join him in the 'Heaven' portion of the house, in the luxury bedroom.

Rebecca Shiner remarked after Darnell's selection: "I would rather be with these people" referring to those left, while Lisa Appleton decided to "make it hell" for the 'Heaven' group by making them cold tea.

Speaking in the diary room after being voted head of house, Darnell said the honour was amazing and he couldn't believe it.

"It is my happiest moment, oh man," he added, promising to give the task his all.

"A lot of people didn't want the responsibility," he went on, explaining that he feels he will become a target in the house.

The 'Heaven' housemates later listened to music on MP3 players, and enjoyed a feast of sushi, sandwiches, cakes and alcohol.
