Following a long hearing in which Christie Brinkley emotionally depicted "the day my world was completely shattered," the former supermodel told reporters outside the courthouse that she feels no resentment towards her estranged hubby's former teenage mistress.

Referring to the 21-year-old Diana Bianchi, who worked as an assistant for Brinkley's fourth husband, Peter Cook, at the time of their affair, Brinkley said the girl was "manipulated," so she "forgives her completely."

"I'd just like to say after two days of testimony that I can't help but think about Diana Bianchi, and I want her and her family to know that I feel really badly for them," 54-year-old Brinkley said. "I feel bad for her and I forgive her completely."

The day before, Bianchi reportedly approached Brinkley's daughter with Billy Joel, Alexa Joel, and apologized for "the pain I have caused you and your family," a source quoted by People said.

"Alexa then hugged her and said, 'We have all been through a lot'," the source added.

Although Brinkley and Cook have gone to court over the custody of their two children, 9-year-old daughter, Sailor, and 12-year-old son, Jack, the first week of the trial focused on Cook's affair, which set off a frenzy in the tabloids.

According to Bianchi's testimony, she was hired by Cook to be an assistant at his architectural firm when she was 18, and started to aggressively purse her after just a few weeks on the job. Claiming Cook seduced her, Bianchi said the two started seeing each other while he provided her with large sums of cash.

However, when Bianchi decided to put an end to their almost one-year relationship, Cook continued to harass her. It was after that that she asked her stepfather's help, Brian Platt, a police officer, who approached Brinkley and told her that her husband will not leave his daughter alone.

The divorce trial will resume Long Island on Monday, with Christie Brinkley and Peter Cook battling over custody of their children.
