Five news presenter Natasha Kaplinsky won't be getting any maternity pay, the Daily Mail reports.
The 35-year-old was hired on a freelance contract and isn't entitled to any pay when she takes time off to have her first child.
"Natasha is only paid when she is here," an insider told the Daily Mail. "She will not be getting maternity pay."
Kaplinsky became Britain's highest paid newsreader when she left the BBC to present Five News with Natasha Kaplinsky.
Five's news bulletins have seen a 72% increase in ratings since Kaplinsky began presenting in February.
