Teen singing sensation Miley Cyrus has earned a massive $18 million (GBP9 million) in one year.

The 15-year-old Hannah Montana star has earned huge amounts of cash for her roles in the TV series, movie and album deals, as well as merchandise.

The daughter of country star Billy Ray Cyrus raked in more money in 2007 than her teen icon peers, beating the Olsen twins who earned $16 million last year.

But the teen star has a long way to go to be one of Hollywood's biggest earners, chat show queen Oprah Winfrey is still the highest paid celebrity -earning $260 million in 2007.
