A thanksgiving service to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the death of Liverpool singer Billy Fury is to be held in the city's Anglican Cathedral.
Fans will meet at the star's waterfront statue at 1300 GMT and the service will begin at the cathedral two hours later.
Born Ronald Wycherley in 1940, Billy Fury became an internationally successful pop singer in the 1950s and 60s. He died in London in 1983.
There will be a party in the cathedral restaurant after the service.
