Denise Richards defends having kids in reality show

Denise Richards has revealed why she decided to include her young daughters Sam and Lola on her reality show.

“I’m in a no-win situation,” said the 37-year-old single mum to People.com. “If I don’t have my children in my show, then people will say: ’Well, she’s really not a hands-on mum’.

"If I do have my children, people are saying that I’m exploiting them. And I think there are plenty of reality shows with families, where you don’t watch them – at least I never did – and think they really exploited their kids.”

The former Bond girl’s husband, Charlie Sheen, has tried to prevent the kids appearing in footage, but lost the battle in court. He then called for a boycott of the as-yet-untitled show.
