Ashley Cole is worried that his wife Cheryl will spill the beans on their marriage troubles in a new book.
Cheryl and her Girls Aloud bandmates have signed a £500,000 deal with Transworld publishers for the book, which will tell the story of their rise from reality TV contestants to Britain's most successful girl group.
Insiders have confirmed that love cheat Ashley will "definitely" be mentioned, though Cheryl has not yet decided how much to reveal about their recent problems.
The couple's relationship hit the rocks in January after it emerged that Ashley had been unfaithful with single mum Aimee Walton. Cheryl has since decided to give her husband another chance.
"Cheryl's chapter is up in the air at the moment while she decides how much she wants to say about her and Ashley," a source told The Mirror. "She hasn't yet gone public on how she feels about getting back with him after he cheated. Everything that happened is still very raw and she finds it painful to talk about it.
"But she can't just sweep the cheating chapter under the carpet - although she wishes she could. Ashley is dreading seeing it in print. Reading his wife's own words about how her heart was broken should make him feel very guilty."
