Seventeen U.S. concert dates on Van Halen's tour are being rescheduled so Eddie Van Halen can continue medical tests, the band announced.
A statement posted on the official Van Halen Web site said Eddie Van Halen is "under doctors' care" and undergoing more tests "to define a course of treatment."
No other information about the guitarist's condition was offered.
The tour is to resume April 19, with rescheduled dates to be announced shortly.
The Web site said fans should retain their tickets as they will be honored at the rescheduled concerts or ticket refunds will be issued at the point of purchase.
