Milla Jovovich has signed on to star in David Twohy’s “A Perfect Getaway” for Relativity Media, alongside Kiele Sanchez.

Milla Jovovich and Kiele Sanchez join Timothy Olyphant and Steve Zahn in the thriller, which focuses on the story of a newlywed couple on their honeymoon in Hawaii who run into two hikers who turn out to be vicious killers, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Jovovich will portray Zahn’s new wife, while Sanchez will play Olyphant’s companion. Twohy wrote and is directing the feature, which MGM is distributing. The Hollywood Reporter adds production begins March 31 in Puerto Rico and Hawaii.

Relativity Media’s Ryan Kavanaugh, Tucker Tooley and Mark Canton are producing along with Robbie Brenner. Bill Block and Kimberly Fox at QED International, which is handling foreign sales, are exec producing.

Sanchez is best known for her work on the third season of ABC’s “Lost.” She recently wrapped the Jeff Buhler-directed horror thriller “Insanitarium.” The cast includes Jesse Metcalfe, Peter Stormare, and Olivia Munn. Buhler also penned the script.

Jovovich of course is already accustomed to the horror genre as the star of the “Resident Evil” movies. She played in 2002’s “Resident Evil,” 2004’s “Resident Evil: Apocalypse” and last year’s “Resident Evil: Extinction.”

Jovovich is also attached to star in the Paul Verhoeven-directed crime drama “Azazel,” based on Russian novelist Boris Akunin’s book. Entertainment Weekly reports that filming for the project, previously postponed due to Jovovich’s pregnancy last year, is set to start this summer.

As to Twohy, he has participated on a number of successful Hollywood projects, most notably “The Fugitive” starring Harrison Ford (as a writer) and “Pitch Black” and its sequel “The Chronicles of Riddick” (as a writer and director).
