Matt Damon and Wife Expecting Baby

People’s most handsome man alive is going to be a new father sometime in 2008. Matt Damon told the same magazine where he was crowned S.M.A. that his wife Luciana and he are expecting their third child and the second that they are having as husband and wife.

"They couldn't be happier," said Matt’s representative Jennifer Allen. "They're so excited!"

The news broke when Damon and his sweetie stepped out this past weekend at the Empire Film Awards in London, England. Luciana’s baby bump could easily be spotted and the couple confirmed that they were expecting.

Matt married Luciana on December 9, 2005 after meeting her in Miami where she worked as a bartender. On June 11, 2006 their first child together, a baby girl named Isabella, was born. Matt is also the stepfather to Alexia, the girl that Luciana had from a former marriage.

Fatherhood is a good thing for Damon. Six months after he became a Dad for the first time his thoughts on being a parent had completely changed. "I didn't think that this would happen to me," Damon told People magazine at the time. "Other people were always showing me baby pictures or trying to hand me the baby, and I was like, 'Get that thing away from me. I don't want to touch your kid. Give me a break.' But I'm totally into it now."

He also has some experience with Isabella that he can use on the new Damon when he or she arrives. "You do this thing where you can either give her (a raspberry) on the stomach or if you sort of act like you're going to munch her underarm, and she laughs like a little machine gun. And it's like I could do it forever.”
