Did Heather Locklear Call 911?

Heather Locklear’s rep says the actress is fine, denying the rumors that she needed medical assistance Saturday.

TMZ informed that Heather’s shrink spoke on the phone with the actress on Saturday night and was alarmed by her state. He said Heather seemed very upset and he feared she might overdose on the medication that was prescribed to her for depression, so he called 911.

Ventura County Fire Department sent two paramedic units to the actress’s home in Thousand Oaks, but found out that the call had not originated from Locklear’s place, so they left after ten minutes.

"I was told no one was transported. There was no medical or police intervention," said Capt. Ross Bonfiglio, spokesman for the sheriff's department, according to People.

The actress’s rep confirmed it was a hoax call.

"[I] spoke with Heather and she is fine. She never requested medical assistance and did not place a 911 call. Nor did anyone from her house call 911 or place a call requesting medical assistance," Locklear’s rep said in a statement Sunday night.

Locklear, aged 46, has recently appeared on “Rules of Engagement” and “Hannah Montana,” as the mother of one of the title character’s friends. She just finished filming “Flying By,” a movie featuring Billy Ray Cyrus, in which she plays the wife of a real estate developer who reunites his high-school rock band.

In 2006, the actress ended a 11-year-marriage with Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora, with whom she has a ten-year-old daughter.
