Beauty Pageant Costentent Janina San Miguel flummoxed by killer question

You may remember the clip of Miss Teen South Carolina, who gave an excruciating performance of empty-headedness when asked a geography question during part of a beauty pageant.

Well, here comes a Filipino contestant who makes Miss Teen South Carolina look like Stephen Fry stuffed with the body of Albert Einstein. Janina San Miguel (si, si San Miguel) may only be 17, but that's no excuse for this performance when she is hit with a difficult and thought-provoking question about her family.



You'd think that after a performance like this she would slink away and never show her face in public again. None of it. She remained on stage, braved it out and ended up being crowned the winner. There's hope for us all yet.
