Paris Hilton awarded Harvard's Woman of the Year

She´s had many awards for doing nothing, but never has Paris Hilton had the honour of being named Woman of the Year. But that's exactly what the heiress was crowned by Harvard University.

The university's 's satirical Lampoon magazine awarded the socialite with the award in front of a large crowd.

"Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine standing here," she told the students after accepting the honour yesterday.

"It's really exciting and I've had such a great time."

Hilton was in Boston for a week of partying as well, and only had good things to say about the prestige university.

"You people are so hot! Harvard is so hot!" she said.

Ever the good sport, Hilton, we hope, was getting the joke.

"They're honouring me for being in business and my acting," she explained to the crowd.
