Vanessa Hudgens will star in the new teenage drama WILL, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Director Todd Graff and Josh Cagan wrote the screenplay for the movie, which revolves around a high school misfit and a popular girl that form an unlikely friendship through their shared love of music.
Together, they form a band of outcasts and go on to perform in a musical competition. Hudgens plays the fifteen-year-old misfit.
The film is set for a February 2008 start in Austen, Texas.
