Screen icon Sophia Loren has slammed reality TV series BIG BROTHER - and insists its viewers are wasting their time. The movie veteran, 73, finds it hard to understand why the globally syndicated show continues to win an audience, as the contestants contained in the Big Brother house - which is under surveillance 24 hours a day - are just going about their day-to-day lives.
She says, "I can't get my head around people wanting to watch wannabes simply sleeping or having insane conversations or, worse still, sitting up all night on the off-chance two idiots may have sex."
