Robbie Williams has disappointed fans by announcing he has no plans to tour or release new music in 2008.
The former Take That heartthrob, who admits to having plumped up on mince pies over Christmas, claims his last tour almost killed him doesn't want to do the same this year.
"There might not be a proper album out this year and there definitely won't be a tour any time soon. F*ck that, the last one nearly killed me," said Robbie, whose Close Encounter tour grossed over £170m.
"There will be some kind of something this year. I might just put the B-sides to the next album out first online.
"Christmas was a glutton feast - I neither fit into my pop star trousers or my bed for that matter."
He also claims that a bad back and knee are too blame for his lack of interest in returning to the stage in the near future.
