More Trouble for Idol's Sierra

Apparently, Jessica Sierra's stint in Celebrity Rehab was a bust.

The 22-year-old onetime American Idol finalist was arrested early Saturday after a drunken confrontation with police and onlookers at a nightclub, authorities said.

Sierra was charged with disorderly intoxication, resisting arrest and violating conditions of her parole on felony battery and drug possession charges in an earlier case. She was being held without bail.

Her attorney had no comment on the situation.

According to the arresting officers, Sierra attempted to escape their clutches as she was being taken into custody.

"As the defendant was taken into custody, she attempted to push away and flee the scene," the police report said.

The latest bust comes less than two weeks after Sierra pleaded no contest to charges stemming from an altercation in a Tampa bar in April, where she was accused of hitting a man on the head with a glass. After she was taken into custody, police discovered a small amount of cocaine on her person.

Circuit County Judge Gregory Holder sentenced her on Nov. 19 to 12 months' probation and random drug screening.

Sierra entered a rehab program in California in July. Her treatment was slated to be the subject of an episode of VH1's upcoming reality show Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew.
