It has only been two weeks since his win but Leon Jackson is already splashing his new-found cash.
The 18-year-old, who crooned his way to the title of X Factor champion this year, bought his mum Wendy a rather special Christmas present - a new car.
According to the Mirror, Leon purchased a Mini Cooper and hid it close to the family's West Lothian home, before covering it in bows and surprising her with it.
A friend told the newspaper that the singer even placed the key in a jewellery box for him to give to Wendy.
"When she saw the Mini covered in bows she burst out crying," he added.
"She has always wanted one. It was a dream come true."
Dreams coming true might be a regular thing in the Jackson household lately, as the teenager scored a Christmas number one single with his version of When You Believe.
The track was originally sung by Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston for the animated feature film The Prince of Egypt.
It was also covered by X Factor runner-up Rhydian Roberts - but Leon's winning of the competition meant his version was released.
