Cerys Matthews says Marc Bannerman is her soulmate

I'm a Celebrity may be over, but the romance between Marc Bannerman and Cerys Matthews may well be about to begin.

The pair, who struck up a very cute and affectionate friendship in the jungle, are now facing up to the outside world as viewers wait to see if they will get together for real.

And Cerys, who is divorced with two children, told the News of the World that she has "found a soulmate" in ex-EastEnders star Marc.

"I'm in love with Marc and I think he feels the same. I'd like us to spend the rest of our lives together," she said.

Marc was also quoted by the Daily Mirror as cooing: "I hope to settle down and have children with the right woman. I think Cerys is that woman."

But while the pair seems to be falling head over heels for each other, Marc's early eviction from the jungle left him facing up to now ex-girlfriend Sarah Matravers, who reportedly moved out of their home and dumped him after his behaviour.

Meanwhile, winner Christopher Biggins commented on the relationship, telling the Sunday Mirror that he would love to be matron of honour if the two were to get married.
