Britney Spears to replace Lindsay Lohan in ‘Memoirs Of A Medicated Child’

Troubled singer Britney Spears is reportedly in talks to star in a new film - in a role that was originally lined up for Lindsay Lohan.

According to reports Britney, 26 - will draw on her own chaotic life for Memoirs Of A Medicated Child, in which she’d play the girlfriend of a misdiagnosed mentally-ill patient. Director Tommy Parker tells The New York Post: “As far as Britney’s concerned, we’re talking.”

An insider added to Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper that Lindsay, who recently split from boyfriend Riley Giles, had been offered the part because they thought she’d be a better actor. “But they changed their minds and wanted Britney.”

Meanwhile, sources close to the ongoing custody war between Britney and her ex-husband Kevin Federline, have confirmed that the ‘Gimme More’ star is — once again — scheduled next week to be deposed by K-Fed’s lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan. However, as the mother of two has blown off over a half-dozen previously scheduled attempts at being deposed — many insiders are convinced that Britney will be a no-show for this one as well.

A legal source said: “She could go to jail for contempt of court if she refuses to show.

“That would be extreme for a child custody hearing, but not outside the realm of possibility.” More likely, explains the courtroom insider, Federline’s team could ask the court to impose monetary sanctions on Britney, who is already paying Kevin’s legal costs.
